Concord is defined as harmony, or as unity between persons or groups. At its core, that is what this society seeks to accomplish. We provide the common ground for people who wish to live a more productive life with their fellow citizens. We then help to facilitate productive discourse and community organizing at the local level, and then share that experience with other communities across the country in a continuous effort to inculcate a better culture.
The anxieties, stressors, and frustrations of today’s world are amplified by isolation and division. This society offers another place for many of you who share ever mounting concerns about your place in this world to congregate. Here we emphasize a common goal of working toward a better individual who shares their perspectives for a better community.
Our emblem is a single pillar, wrapped in red and blue ribbon. This symbolizes your role. You are expected to be a pillar in your own community. To be a successful citizen you must work with the difficulties and differences that surround you in everyday life, and still stand strong for your yourself and those around you.
